City Gates to launch food programme to support community

City Gates is keen to support the local community during this period of extreme need. Over the past few weeks they have given help to their members who are in need by providing them with food packages and other essential items.

They have taken the decision to expand their food programme to all communities in Redbridge. As of Friday 1st May their programme will provide pre-packaged cooked food to the community on Fridays between 11:00 am and 2:00pm.

The food packages will be distributed from City Gates Church, 25-29 Clements Road, Ilford, IG1 1BH. Please note to keep to the current social distancing guidelines the food line will be appropriately marked to observe social distancing. Only two people at a time will be granted access to the staging area to collect their food package.

If you would like to use of their food programme or know anyone that would benefit from it, contact City Gates Church on 02085140188 or email info@citygates.london. Please contact them before attending to allow them enough time to plan and prepare the food packages in advance.
