Healthy Living - young people's survey
Healthwatch Redbridge has a duty to involve children and young people, as well as adults, in the design and delivery of local Health and Social Care Services.
One of Healthwatch's priorities for 2018-2019 is services for children and young people. This area is also one of the six overarching ambitions for the health and wellbeing strategy 2017-2021. The aim is for children and young people to achieve optimum health and wellbeing, from birth, through to adulthood.
In order to achieve this priority, Healthwatch has designed a project, with input from young people in Redbridge, to gather feedback regarding Healthy Living. The young people came up with the theme and drafted the survey questions. The feedback will be gathered via a survey and possibly some focus groups.
The feedback we receive may allow us to identify whether there is enough provision with regards healthy living for young people both within local health and care services and schools.
The survey has been reviewed by Public Health Redbridge and has been piloted by the Youth Council prior to going live.
We are keen to get the survey out to as many young people, aged 14-18 years old. Do you work with or know of groups that support young people? If so, please contact us so that we can link in with these groups. Furthermore, if you know any young people that attend a secondary school in Redbridge, we would appreciate it if you can ask them to complete the survey. It will take less than 10 minutes to complete the survey. You can find the survey here:
