Attached below flyer and details below about an initiative to train front line non-medical people in talking about cancer.

Familiar faces in the community are ideally placed to encourage their customers to visit the GP if they have any concerns, or to be able to point them in the direction of local healthy living support services. It’s not about being an expert in cancer or health – it’s about having simple, yet powerful conversations that could make all the difference.

BHRUT Chemotherapy and Cancer Services - Report

Healthwatch organisations from Redbridge, Havering, Barking and Dagenham were asked by the Outer North East London Joint Health Scrutiny Committee to gather the views of patients using chemotherapy services.
We held a focus group at Havering Town Hall, with patients and carers who had recent experience of using chemotherapy services at Queens and King George’s Hospitals.
The service was changed without consultation.
