Have you used the Community Treatment Team (CTT) or the Intensive Rehabilitation Services (IRS) in Redbridge during the past year?
Community Treatment Teams (CTT’s) are health and social care staff (such as doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, social workers, support workers and administrators etc) who work in the community to prevent people being admitted to hospital unnecessarily. They also work in the Emergency department at Queens hospital where they can assess patients and support them to return home without needing to go into hospital unless absolutely necessary.
The Intensive Rehabilitation Service (IRS) is a team of physiotherapists, occupational therapists and nursing staff who can help patients after they are discharged from hospital or help to avoid further admissions. They work closely with our local hospitals and our GPs to provide a short period of intensive rehabilitation in a patients home.
Healthwatch Redbridge is currently working with the CTT and IRS teams and would like to hear your experiences of using these services over the last year. You can make your voice heard by going to the links below and filling out a short survey for us!
