One Place East- New Disability Organisation in Redbridge
The trustees and committee members of Redbridge Concern for Mental Health, Daffodil Advocacy and the Centre for Independent and Inclusive Living Redbridge (CiiL-R) are pleased to announce their intention to merge on 1st October 2017.
This exciting development for Redbridge and East London will see the creation of a new charity supporting all service user groups, with the potential to expand and respond to needs in the current financial climate.
Service users from all the organisations have been engaged and involved in the development process to create a name and vision for the merged organisation and they will be at the heart of its governance.
The vision is:
·One Place East will be an integrated single access point for information and direct services
·The core functions of One Place East will be: -
·Information and advice
·Voice and influence
·Direct services
·Peer support
·Training
·Promoting social inclusion and equality
·Independent advocacy
·Promoting good health and well
