Come along to Action on Hearing Loss and Age UK's Deaf Awareness Event and learn more about hearing loss, deafness, and tinnitus.
The event will be opened by the Mayor of Redbridge, Councillor Linda Huggett. Speakers include:
• Jeanann Doyle, NHS nutritionist and cochlear implant user.
• Maureen Fisher, Lipreading teacher at Action on Hearing Loss.
• Vaitheki Maheswaran, audiologist at Action on Hearing Loss.
• Jasbir Jheeta, who will talk about falls prevention and Age UKRBH services.
Free hearing checks and information stall will also be available. Tea, coffee and light refreshments will be provided.
