About this event
On the morning of Wednesday 16 January, St Bartholomew’s Hospital will be holding an event to shape the future of psychological services for Cardiac patients.
Living with a cardiac condition can impact the patient their family and friends and can have a huge impact on how people live their lives especially their mental health. In order to shape and prioritise future psychological support, so that it brings most benefit cardiac patients and their families, St Bartholomew's need to hear from you!
St Bartholomew's need to hear from patients, their stories and experiences, where they see gaps in support and what they would like to have. They need to hear from families and friends of patients about what they think would help or have helped their family member or friend, as well as views on the impacts on them as a family and how psychological services could support this. They also need to hear from staff about how they think psychological services could help support their patients and their families better in the future.
No specific experience is necessary, just the willingness to go along and talk about your experiences, share your thoughts and ideas with others to help St Barts improve the care we deliver to patients and their families.
