About this event
Barnardo's launched a service to provide support and advice to Black, Asian and minority ethnic parents of children aged 0-5 years with coughs, colds and chest infections. This service is called Boloh Helpline and in addition to health advice, they provide practical support to parents e.g., food vouchers, smartphone, £10 sim cards, tablets with dongles and baby items. This is a much needed service because it is reducing pressures on the NHS and meeting the practical needs of families.
The Helpline will be hosting an information session on 24th March between 12-1 pm for parents/carers and community organisations working with parents/carers about the service and information on caring for children with chest infections.
