RedbridgeCVS is the local umbrella body for the voluntary and community sector (VCS) in Redbridge. We are a small, friendly team based in central Ilford - just 20 minutes by train from Liverpool Street station. Every year we support over 300 voluntary and community groups in Redbridge, helping them to thrive and make a difference in their communities.

We are looking for a creative and strategic leader to join the team as our Head of Community Development. This is a varied and exciting role which will involve overseeing our workforce development and capacity building support for the local VCS, and leading on the development of new opportunities for volunteering, participation and active citizenship.

As a member of the RedbridgeCVS leadership team you will also play a key role in strategic planning and in nurturing a supportive learning culture.

The ideal candidate will be an ambitious leader with the drive to develop and expand our work to meet strategic objectives. You will be passionate about the power of community with a proven track record of driving innovation and successful business development. As a creative problem solver with a collaborative approach, you will bring experience of working with partners from across the voluntary, public and private sectors.
