Healthwatch Redbridge engaged with over 4600 people during 2023-24
Between April 2023 - March 2024, Healthwatch Redbridge engaged with 1575 people at community group events and over 3060 stakeholders at meetings, events, steering groups and training.
Community engagement
We have conducted our community engagement at local Trusts, in libraries and at health & wellbeing events.
For our Health Inequalities project, we undertook extensive engagement, both with exisiting and new community groups. This meant we heard from over 250 people about their experiences of health inequalities. This report will be available shortly.

Stakeholder engagement and training
A big part of our stakeholder engagement this last year has involved informing trusts of our new Maternity and Neonatal Independent Senior Advocate role.
We have trained 62 people in the Accessible Information Standard.
We have run four cohorts of Mental Health First Aid training, training 32 people.
