Accessible Information Standards- The NHS post implementation review
The Accessible Information Standard sets out requirements for organisations to identify, record, flag, share and meet the information and communication needs of people with a disability, impairment or sensory loss.
All organisations that provide NHS care and / or publicly-funded adult social care must follow the Standard in full from 1st August 2016 onwards
With the support from the Redbridge People's Parliament, Healthwatch Redbridge were one of the many to respond to the review of the Standards. The report can be found attached to this article
